Experience CS 'train the trainer' program application

We are excited to share that the Raspberry Pi Foundation is continuing our Experience CS ‘train the trainer’ program—a free, six-week online professional development opportunity designed to prepare educators to lead professional development and support the implementation of our free Experience CS learning materials across their schools, districts, or organizations.

Through a blend of live sessions and asynchronous work, participants will deepen their understanding of computer science pedagogy, build expertise in the Experience CS learning materials, and develop the facilitation skills, training resources, and strategies needed to confidently onboard and support educators implementing Experience CS.

Live sessions will be held Tuesdays, from February 23 to March 30, 2027 from 3:00 to 4:00 CT.

Live session outline:

Week 1: Welcome, and CS in our world
Week 2: Experience CS teaching and learning materials
Week 3: Introduction to CS pedagogy
Week 4: Culturally relevant pedagogy and localization
Week 5: Orientation to Code Classroom
Week 6: Action planning and reflection

Program outcomes:

Increase your comfort and confidence in facilitating Experience CS professional development
Strengthen your knowledge and expertise in Experience CS content and pedagogy
Build connections with a community of educators committed to expanding access to computer science
