Community Partner Training
Expression of Interest

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from youth and community organisations in the UK and Ireland for a series of free training workshops designed to equip your staff with the necessary skills to run free, regular coding clubs for young people under 18.

This training will consist of two 90 minute online workshops, followed by an in-person training day with the Raspberry Pi Foundation's team of experienced educators. These are the dates of the workshops:
  1. 18th September - Workshop 1 (Online)
  2. 25th September - Workshop 2 (Online)
  3. 9th October (Ireland) and 23rd October (UK) - In person training day
During these sessions, your staff will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience as our trainers guide you through coding, digital making, and physical computing activities, equipping you with the tools to inspire and support young people on their digital journeys.

In order to participate in this training course, your organisation must:
  • Have access to computer equipment and a broadband internet connection at your venue
  • Be able to provide a minimum of two staff members to attend all training sessions and to run your coding club on an ongoing basis following the training course
  • Agree to run your first coding session with young people within 90 days of attending the training course
